New application fees for Newfoundland Province Skilled Worker Programs announced

Newfoundland Province of Canada has announced latest application fees for skilled worker category. As of the news, Newfoundland and Labrador Province has increased the application fees for Express Entry Skilled Worker and Skilled Worker categories to $250 CAD, which are expected to come into effective from May 1, 2016.

Express Entry Skilled Worker Program: A skilled worker who has been accepted into the Federal Skilled Worker of the  Canada Express Entry and holds a valid job offer in Newfoundland or Labrador is eligible to migrate. However, candidates nominated by the NLPNP will be benefitted with additional scores under the CRS system, which eventually increases their chances of receiving an ITA for Canada PR.

Skilled Worker category: This migration category is for professionals who have a guaranteed job offer in any of the provinces or are currently working as skilled workers under a work permit in Newfoundland or Labrador. With this, the candidate should also have serious intention to settle in Newfoundland or Labrador, enough experience for the occupation chosen, proficiency in English language and enough funds to manage his stay.
