  • Along with these you will also have to appear for the TOEFL, PTE and CAE tests and fulfill their minimum visa requirements in order to be eligible for Australian citizenship.
  • Your occupation doesn’t add points to your application. However, it is very important that you fall in any of the categories in high demanding occupation list because this adds an edge to your visa application and keeps you ahead of your peers.
  • As a PR applicant, you will have to send an ‘expression of interest’ to the Australian immigration authority online. This will have a detailed account of why do you want to migrate to Australia and for how long.
This will also have the information of you are looking for a temporary visa or a permanent visa.
  • You will also have to clear the medical examination to ensure that you are a healthy citizen and fit to travel and reside in another country. You will also get additional benefit if you have an existing health insurance.
  • You will also have to provide a clearance certificate from the police which will prove that you have no criminal records in your existing country.

It might seem that there are too many requirements to be eligible to permanent residency in Australia. However, the fact is if you have cleared everything honestly, this is just a cake walk.
