Key Highlights:
The first round of the SkillSelect was conducted on 26th July 2021. The applications invited were about 750 out of those, 500 for a Subclass 189 Skilled Independent visa and 250 for the Subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional visa.
As seen in the last rounds, this time the minimum score was 65 points for the 491 visas while 80 points for the 189. For the 189 visas, the recent EOI was in the July of the year 2019 while for the 491 it was from March 2021.
