In a diplomatic thaw, India has reopened its e-visa services for Canadian citizens, effective from November 22, 2023. Last month, India reinstated visa services for various categories, including entry, business, medical, and conference visas.

As the situation improved, the resumption of visa services became feasible, initially in physical forms and now extending to e-visas.
