Manitoba invites 419 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the latest draw. 

This draw held on 17 December is the biggest Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draw result of the year ending 2020. 

Skilled Workers & International Graduates

Both Skilled Workers and International Graduates were selected to participate in the following three streams.

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba
  • International Education Stream
  • Skilled Workers Overseas

Invitations are also known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in Manitoba PNP.

Eligibility Criteria for the Draw

Only candidates working in regulated occupations were considered for this draw.

From the total 419 LAAs issued, 37 went to Express Entry candidates. However, candidates without a valid Express Entry ID, a job seeker validation code, and verifiable experience in the province’s In-Demand Occupations list are not eligible.

Manitoba’s EOI System

You will have to register an Expression of Interest (EOI) with MPNP if you want to immigrate to Canada through Manitoba PNP.

Interested candidates are ranked out of 1,000 points based on their human capital characteristics. It includes education, work experience, English or French language skill, Manitoba connections, and other factors.

Great Year for Manitoba PNP

This year 2020 has been a great year for Manitoba. The provincial government has issued a total of 4,888 LAAs so far.
