Quebec Plans To Invite Up to 45,000 Immigrants In 2021

Quebec is all set to invite between 44,500 to 47,500 immigrants next year. As per the announcement of Plan d’immigration du Québec 2021, the rich province of Canada is targeting around a 10% increase in migrants' intake in comparison to this year.  

A majority of the applicants are expected to apply through Quebec's immigration program. Around 30,500 migrants will be welcome through this traditional visa program in Quebec.

Simultaneously, the "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada" is expected to announce its plans for  Canada's immigration from the year 2021 to 2023. Bloomberg reported that the Canadian governments is aiming for a high immigration intake for the next 2 years plans, despite the Coronavirus. 

The major visa program for Canada are:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Program: A proper permanent residency of Canada with a five years multiple entry visa 
  2. Provincial nominee program: A popular visa program for candidates who wish to work and settlein a province of Canada
  3. Canada Experience class: This program is applicable for the applicants who studied or worked in Canada.
