BC Invites 374 Candidates in Two PNP Draws

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) recently held two draws for provincial nomination and issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 374 immigration candidates.

The province has so far held 18 invitation rounds in 2021 and invited a total of 2,909 candidates to apply for provincial nomination.

Invitation Category

The candidates who received ITAs were from Express Entry BC and Skilled immigration categories of the British Columbia PNP.

Under these streams, the invitations were awarded to candidates from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and Entry-Level & Semi-Skilled Workers.

BC PNP Draws

The draw, held on 30th April, had two rounds. The larger, general draw invited 330 candidates who met the cut-off score required under that category.

The second draw invited 44candidates who were under two specific occupations. The occupations selected were Restaurant and Food Service Managers (NOC 0631) and Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers (NOC 0621).

British Columbia PNP

The British Columbia PNP is an immigration program by the province to attract highly-skilled foreign workers who have skills currently in-demand and wish to settle there permanently.

It has two streams - Skilled Immigration and Express Entry BC. These are managed by the province’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
