The Tech Pilot Project

The pilot project is a concierge service for employers. BC PNP holds weekly draws for tech workers. The project offers priority processing of applications and flexibility in the duration of job offers.

Eligible candidates are required to have a job offer of at least 12 months in the province in any one of the Tech Pilot’s 29 listed occupations.

How to Apply?

Candidates will first need to create a profile on the BC PNP’s online portal known as the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). It is a points-based system ranking eligible candidates according to scores.

High scoring candidates from Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories are invited to apply for a provincial nomination through regular draws.

Express Entry BC’s Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories are linked to the federal Express Entry pool. It allows BC PNP to nominate candidates having an Express Entry profile.

Gain Additional 600 CRS Points

Express Entry candidates nominated through BC PNP get additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in Express Entry. It means that they will definitely receive an Invitation to Apply in the next federal Express Entry draw
