Canada holds the 3rd Express Entry Draw of September 2023

Another round of invitations held under Canada’s Express Entry system, the most popular route to a PR visa that lets you live and work permanently in Canada.

On September 26, 2023, Canada invited 3,000 to apply through the Express Entry system. As this was an all-program Express Entry draw, no program was specified by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

The minimum score requirement was that of 504 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

Canada releases latest Express Entry report

428,391 profiles were submitted through the Express Entry system in 2022. Official statistics for 2022 were recently released by IRCC in the Express Entry Year-End Report 2022.

90% of those invited in 2022 had a post-secondary credential of a minimum of 3 years’ duration. Most of the ITA went to provincial nominees, followed by CEC candidates. FSWP came third.

There were no invitations issued under FSTP. However, those with work experience in trade occupations received invitations through CEC, PNP, and FSWP.
