- Availability of English Language Test Dates
For the sake of thousands of workers and students willing to be permanent residents of Canada, the English language test provider CELPIP released its new test dates on Twitter on April 26 at about 8.18 p.m EST. Besides the announcement, the test provider also mentioned, for further information, willing candidates can register for the notification bar on their webpage as they will not post any updates on social media.
A few days back, Canadian Immigration minister Marco Mendicino announces six new pathways to permanent residency for the workers and students in Canada by which the country will give some 90,000 workers and students and an unlimited number of French-speaking candidates permanent residency in the state.
This created a huge demand among the workers and students who wish to submit their applications for the English language test as it is essential for this program. Because of this, on the 15th of April CELPIP's website crashed because of the heavy traffic of willing test-takers across Canada but it recovered soon and again opened for candidates currently living there.
“…our team has worked tirelessly with our test center partners to increase availability and to stabilize our systems for an improved registration experience. We are proud that our centralized operations have allowed us to quickly respond to help thousands of hopeful permanent residents secure a test in the past week. With thousands of more seats made available earlier today for sittings through until the end of May, we hope to help thousands more. We are committed to adding test sittings in June and beyond, and we strive for equitable distribution across the country.” said, Betty Chan, Vice President of Operations stated In a written statement to CIC News.
Many graduates, students, and workers want permanent residence in the country, so the ministry has set the demands of these new pathways extremely sharp as they knew there are thousands of willing candidates who want to apply. Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) made it essential for candidates to carry all accurate documents with them, along with the language test results.
