MPNP Draw Overview:

Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #134
Total LAAs issued: 443
Express Entry candidates invited: 97

Manitoba started the year by inviting 443 prospective immigrants to apply for provincial nomination. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has invited applicants to three Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP).

Here are the numbers of invitations issued for each program, plus the minimum score threshold according to the province's Expression of Interest (EOI) system:

  • Skilled Worker Manitoba - 357 invitations with a minimum score of 459;
  • Skilled Workers Abroad - 53 invitations with a minimum score of 711; and
  • International Education Stream - 33 invites with no score requirement.

Of these invitations, 97 were issued to candidates in the Express Entry system.

The beautiful province of Manitoba is time and again called the "Gateway to Western Canada". Located in the center of the country, Manitoba is an open and welcoming place with a thriving job market thanks to its abundant natural resources and agriculture. Canada has a long tradition of welcoming immigrants and Manitoba is no exception.

About Express Entry

Express Entry is Canada's application management system for three highly skilled federal immigration programs: the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. Applicants for immigration who submit a profile to the Express Entry System are classified according to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Points are awarded for factors like age, work experience, education, and language skills among others.

You can skip the PNP process and receive an invitation for permanent residence by applying directly through Express Entry. However, a provincial nomination means 600 automatic CRS points, which effectively guarantees that applicants will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a subsequent Express Entry draw.

Manitoba immigration programs

Manitoba makes it easy to immigrate and settle in the province. We select internationally trained and qualified workers who have the skills needed in the local labor market and nominate them to be given Canadian permanent resident visas to settle and work in Manitoba.

Manitoba manages its immigration programs through the MPNP, which supports immigration applications to the federal government. Canadian provinces do not have the ability to grant permanent resident status, but they can assist an application by issuing provincial nominations. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has given 443 Letters of Advice to Apply to talented laborers, and abroad alumni for the principal Canada movement Manitoba PNP attract 2022. LAAs were dispersed through three MPNP streams in the January 13 draw.

To receive an invitation under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba category, you must have a full-time job offer from a provincial employer. International graduates completing their studies in Manitoba may be eligible for an invitation under the International Education Stream if they can demonstrate that they have the required skills.
