As per official statistics, Morocco is among the Top 5 countries where the highest number of visit visa applications for Schengen countries were lodged in 2021.

Newly-published Schengen Visa statistics reveal that 157,100 Schengen Visa applications were submitted by Moroccan nationals and residents in 2021. These were filed at the Visa Application Centres (VACs), consulates, and European embassies.

For 2021, Morocco is the fifth-largest source of Schengen Visa applications. So, what was the main destination of the people submitting their Schengen visa applications in Morocco in 2021? Let’s find out.
