Manitoba’s EOI System

Candidates wanting to immigrate through MPNP need to register an Expression of Interest to receive an LAA.

Registered candidates are then ranked out of a score of 1,000 points based on their human capital characteristics. These include education, work experience, English or French language skills, Manitoba connections and more.

MPNP Immigration Streams

Skilled workers who can support the labour market needs of Manitoba are nominated in the specified categories.

Overseas workers are required to establish a connection with Manitoba province. Factors like having close family ties or friends, previous experience in the region, or receiving an invitation through MPNP’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives are a plus.

Having a full-time permanent job offer from an employer in Manitoba is essential. International students having in-demand skills and graduating from an educational institution in Manitoba can receive an LAA under the International Education Stream.

Express Entry Manitoba

Manitoba’s enhanced PNP requires the candidate to have a federal Express Entry profile. Eligible applicants are ranked based on their CRS score.

Provincial nominations are awarded to high scoring candidates in in-demand occupations. Nominated candidates also receive 600 additional CRS points that guarantee them to receive an Invitation to Apply from IRCC in the next Express Entry draw
