Ontario Issues 2,104 Invitations to Healthcare Professionals

Canada’s Ontario province targets health professionals in the latest round of provincial invitations.

On March 7, 2024, Ontario sent out 2,104 notifications of interest (NOIs). Candidates were invited under the Express Entry linked Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream. Those with the relevant job experience in a healthcare occupation were invited, provided they had a ranking score of CRS 352-421.

Ontario is one of the provinces participating in Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). A nomination by a province/territory in Canada can expedite your Canadian permanent residency. A Nomination Certificate - such as the one issued by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) - can be used to apply for a Canada PR visa to the Canadian Government.

  2. Expressed an interest in being considered by Ontario under PNP,
