More professionals can move to Canada as permanent residents. The latest Express Entry for All-Program draw was made public by the IRCC on August 15, 2023. The invitations to apply were sent to 4,300 professionals with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 496.

The draw was for All-Program. The Federal Skilled Program, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades Program fall under the All-Program category, in which candidates' profiles must match at least one of the program's criteria. With the other eligibility parameters, the CRS score also plays a significant role in the recent draw.

Canada planned to curb the labor shortage issues in the country for the smooth functioning of all sectors simultaneously.

The Express Entry Draw - An Overview

Express Entry is system management to manage the applications of deserving skilled professionals who want to come to Canada under the Permanent Resident visa category. The purpose of the pool is to provide opportunities for foreign nationals to settle down in Canada and contribute to their economic development.

In other words, Canada offers job opportunities along with other benefits to eligible candidates to stay in Canada permanently.

IRCC has diversified the Express Entry draw into three types:

  1. General Round of Invitation: The candidates who have the highest ranking CRS score get the invitations to apply for PR
  2. Program - Specific Round of Invitations: The eligible candidates must have the highest CRS score for a specific Express entry program
  3. Category-based Rounds of Invitations: IRCC invites eligible candidates from specified occupations. A minimum CRS score is also required.

How to Submit your Express Entry Profile - A Step-by-step Guide
