The BC PNP Tech Pilot Program
The BC PNP Tech Pilot was launched in 2017. It is meant to assist provincial employers in attracting immigrants in the IT sector. This program is looked upon as facilitating the immigration process.
Weekly invitations are sent to Tech Pilot eligible candidates. It has a valid one-year job offer in specified 29 occupations.
BC PNP Tech-Only Draws 2020
British Columbia, so far this year, has conducted 27 tech-only draws through BC PNP. However, BC PNP also invites foreign workers and international students every two weeks in non-tech occupations.
The province of British Columbia has been regularly holding these draws despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
