What is Canadian PNP?

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) of Canada offers a route to Canadian permanent residence through the provincial and territorial governments. To be eligible for the PNP, you must -

  • Have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory,
  • Have the intention to live within that province or territory, and
  • Want to settle in Canada as a permanent resident.

Which provinces are a part of the PNP of Canada?

With the exception of the province of Quebec and Nunavut territory, all other provinces and territories in Canada run their own PNPs. Quebec runs its own immigration program under a special accord with the federal government of Canada.
