CRS score drops below 500 in an all-program draw for the first time since December 2020. The minimum CRS score requirement has been steadily dropping since all-program draws were resumed on July 6, 2022, ranging from CRS 557 in Express Entry Draw #226 on July 6 to CRS 496 in the latest Express Entry draw.
On October 26, 2022, Canada held the 22nd Express Entry draw of 2022. To be eligible, a Canada immigration hopeful that had a valid Express Entry profile must have -
4,750 invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

22 Express Entry draws have been held so far this year.
431,645 is the overall planned Canadian permanent resident admissions for 2022. Of these, 55,900 will get Canada PR by the Express Entry route. Another 83,500 Canada PR visa spaces are allotted to those who get Canadian permanent residency by a provincial nomination under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
55,900 will get their Canada PR visa in 2022 by Express Entry route. However, there is a scope for up to 64,000.
The Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025 is expected to be announced by the Canadian government on November 1, 2022. The Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025 will show projections for Canada PR admissions across 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Each year, IRCC releases an Immigration Levels Plan that serves as a guideline and estimation for the number of immigrants to get Canada PR visas over the next 3 years. The Plan contains a breakdown of immigrants based on economic immigration, family immigration, as well as humanitarian programs.
Under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), the Canadian government must make the announcement by November 1 every year. Though scheduled for November 1, 2021, Immigration Levels Plan 2022-2024 was announced on February 14, 2022. Hence, there will be 2 announcements this year.
