Candidates are required to submit Registration of Interest (ROI) for the Victorian Visa Nomination.

People looking to immigrate to Australia through the Victorian Skilled Visa Nomination program are first required to submit their Registration of Interest. It ensures the government to decide whether the applicant can be selected to apply.

Submission Windows in 2021

Victorian Skilled Visa Nominations’ invitations to apply are made on the selection day. ROI of candidates not selected will be considered on future selection days.

About the Victorian Visa Nomination

Selected ROI candidates can apply for Victorian Skilled Visa Nomination under Subclasses 190 and 491. The program is designed to respond to challenges posed by the pandemic and the economic recovery of the state.

Victorian Visa Nomination Programs

Eligibility criteria for the Victorian Visa Nomination should meet the requirements of the following Subclasses.

Candidates’ ROI helps the state government determine the best applicants. However, selection alone does not guarantee nomination.

Criteria for Victoria Skilled Visa

Candidates are required to meet the following criteria to qualify for Victorian Skilled Visa.

Subclass 190

Subclass 491

The candidate should be already living in regional Victoria.

Minimum of 6 months of employment in regional Victoria.

Working in highly skilled occupations like health, life sciences, or medical research & supporting economic recovery of the region.

Information Required for ROI

Applicants are required to provide the following information while submitting a Registration of Interest.

  • Expression of Interest number for SkillSelect
  • Name, date of birth and email address
  • Seeking Visa for Subclass 190 or 491
  • Occupation, including ANZSCO code 
  • Employer’s ABN and contact information
  • Employer’s service or business purpose

The Victoria Skilled Visa nomination program covering Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 reopens on 5 January 2021.
