India Young Professionals Scheme: Get ready to apply by July-end

The much-awaited second ballot for the India Young Professionals Scheme is soon approaching. The visa process is expected to start in July-end 2023. Though the Home Office has not as of yet released the date, they will do it soon.

If you are an aspiring candidate to apply for the next ballot, you must prepare to arrange all the required documents before its late. Once you apply to the ballot, you will have to wait to be selected before you can submit your complete application.

Those selected in the India Young Professionals Scheme ballot are sent a notification within the next 30 days. Next, you can start the visa process.

How to Apply for the India Young Professionals Scheme Ballot?

The ballot is available free online. Applicants need to enter the following details:

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth with supportive document
  • Passport details
  • A scan photo of the passport
  • Contact number
  • Email id

After applying for the ballot, you must wait for 30 days. Within 30 days, a notification will pop up in the mailbox of your ballot if it gets a successful selection.

List of the required papers to apply for the India Young Professionals Scheme?

As July is fast approaching, you need to start the preparation for the application as early as possible. You have to arrange the supportive documents for the application. You may face rejection if any of the documents are missing or absent from the application folder. So, organize the following documents to avail of the India Young Professionals Scheme:

  • You must be an Indian
  • Your age must not exceed 30 years, and be between 18 to 30 years
  • You must be a graduate or above degree holder
  • You must have 2,530 GBP in your savings to support you in the UK
  • You should not have kids below 18 years who live with you or be financially responsible for him/her
  • You must apply for the ballot and successfully select a candidate

Keep ready the below documents with you:

  • A valid passport or other documents that supports your identity and your nationality
  • Educational qualifications documents
  • Bank statement to prove you have 2,530 GBP for your support
  • A medical record of Tuberculosis test report must be negative
  • A police clearance certificate that supports you do not have a criminal background
  • An empty page at the end of your passport for a visa

The above-noted documents you need to attach with the visa application for further verifications. Missing any of the papers can reject your visa application.

Things you should avoid!

Many professionals encounter rejection because they make mistakes. If you plan to avail of the scheme, first, you must be alert and follow the strict guidelines. You should avoid the following points if you are planning to apply for the visa:

  • Check the date you receive the notification of successful ballot selection. The visa application process must be started within 30 days.
  • You have sufficient funds in your account, which will be deposited in your account for at least 30 days or one month.
  • Do not miss the additional fund for the application fees of 259 GBP and 940 GBP for the NHS Surcharge.

The required fund is mandatory in your bank account. You need to be financially sound to avail of the scheme to stay in the UK for two years to build your credibility in the job and business market.
