  • Linked with Express Entry. A score requirement based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Selected candidates get notifications of interest (NOIs).
  • Running independently. These have a score requirement based on the expression of interest (EOI) score. Invitations to apply (ITAs) are issued to selected candidates.

Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream is among the three OINP streams linked with the Express Entry system. PNPs are run by individual provinces. These nominate candidates to the federal government. Canadian permanent residency is granted by the Canadian Government through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
